APPARENTLY IF I DO A POST A SAVE IT TO DRAFT BEFORE I PUBLISH, IT DISABLES THE COMMENTS.
THE LESSON IS TO KEEP IT SHORT AND THEN I WON'T NEED TO SAVE TO DRAFT

or...you could write your posts in some other application- like word- and then when you are ready to post them, just open up the blogger page, and copy and paste!

Actually Jackie that is what i plan to do. Dad set me up with word. I am comfortable with it. Then i can have several of my thoughts in writing at one time.
